Cecil Randolph Howell

HAMPTON - Cecil Randolph Howell, 57, passed away Feb. 8, 2005, at the Sentara Careplex Hospital in Hampton.
A native of Scotland Neck, N.C., Randy was a long time Hampton resident. Randy was an avid bowler for over 30
years, and was known in the community for his years of service to the Phoebus Panthers Youth League as both
coach and commissioner. Randy was a loving and devoted husband, father and friend to all who knew him and he
will be greatly missed. He is survived by his loving wife of 35 years, Deborah B. Howell; daughter, Loni R. Carr
and her husband, Curtis, of Hampton; sons, Joseph Q. Howell and his wife, Crystal, of Hampton and Brian R. Howell
of Richmond; brothers, Robert E. Howell of Williamsburg, John K. Howell of Texas, and William D. Howell of Hampton;
three grandchildren, Brandon, Jade and Chloe; as well as many other loving relatives and dear friends. A life
celebration service will be conducted 2 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 12, at the Parklawn-Wood Funeral Home Chapel with the
burial immediately following in Parklawn Memorial Park. The family will receive friends 6 to 7 p.m. Friday, Feb. 11,
at the funeral home. Arrangements are under the care of Parklawn-Wood Funeral Home, 2551 North Armistead
Avenue, Hampton.
