Jane, Robert and family,
I share your sadness at the loss of Berta. She had something not many have and that's a long life free from major illness. I have never seen her that she hadn't looked like she was on the way to church with a glowing smile on her face. Jane, your crown is full of diamonds for the wonderful care you and Jack have provided your Mom for so many years. She was a great lady. You all are in our thoughts and prayers now and the days ahead.
Linda L. Lane, Williamsburg, Virginia

   Our sincerest sympathies are extended to the entire Price family and their friends.

       From Dave Spriggs ('64) of VA - 11/27/08:

I did a little research. Alberta Harris' family lived on Tide Mill Road at Gloucester Point in the 1920 and 1930 census. It is doubtful that she attended NNHS.

Happy Thanksgiving

   Ooops - my mistake.  Thank you for letting me know, David.

  Y'all take good care of each other!  TYPHOONS FOREVER!  We'll Always Have Buckroe!

                          Love to all, Carol

Amazing Grace

Words by John Newton, 1779

 Amazing grace! (how sweet the sound)
That sav'd a wretch like me!
I once was lost, but now am found,
Was blind, but now I see.

'Twas grace that taught my heart to fear,
And grace my fears reliev'd;
How precious did that grace appear,
The hour I first believ'd!

Thro' many dangers, toils and snares,
I have already come;
'Tis grace has brought me safe thus far,
And grace will lead me home.

The Lord has promis'd good to me,
His word my hope secures;
He will my shield and portion be,
As long as life endures.

Yes, when this flesh and heart shall fail,
And mortal life shall cease;
I shall possess, within the veil,
A life of joy and peace.

The earth shall soon dissolve like snow,
The sun forbear to shine;
But God, who call'd me here below,
Will be forever mine.
