Carol....don't know if you have a copy of this or not....but thought it would be an interesting item in the "remember when" section of NNHS......goodness knows how many lunches and after school treats we've had there....starting in the 7th grade when we would catch the bus after school and go to the  girls club (Y-Teens)....

Remember Woolworth

Woolworth and Kresge...two of the "5 and 10 cent" stores...both had lunch counters....this is a typical menu we would look at and try to see if we had enough money!!!!!! Some of you will remember this.

   1957 Sandwich Menu from Woolworth....

If any of you have a doubt about what we paid for a coke and a sandwich at Woolworth in the 1950's,
here's proof of the era in which we lived.

I wondered who to send this to - who would actually remember eating at a Woolworth's.
Isn't it fun just to receive an e-mail that doesn't make you crazy but just brings back good memories?

Can you believe it was in ENGLISH ONLY?

Thanks, Janice!
