MARGARET F. BAAB
ELIZABETH CITY, N.C. - Mrs. Margaret Farrar Baab, 80, died Saturday, Jan. 20, 1996. A native of Amelia County, Va., she was a resident of the Peninsula for 52 years.
A graduate of Longwood College, she taught language arts in Hampton and Newport News high schools for approximately 40 years. After teaching, Mrs. Baab was an active participant in alcoholic rehabilitation programs, serving as volunteer and counselor in local chemical abuse programs and support organizations.
Mrs. Baab is survived by one brother, J. Beverly Farrar of Blackstone; one daughter, Rita Baab Collie of Elizabeth City, N.C.; one son, Carl Farrar Baab of Richmond; 10 grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
The funeral will be private.
