Paul J. Randolph
Paul J. Randolph crossed over Friday, Jan. 12, 2001, peacefully in his sleep, at home.
Born in Bay St. Louis, Miss., on Oct. 15, 1950, he had been a Peninsula resident since 1963. Paul retired from the US Navy after 26 years of service. He was an independent distributor for Home Interiors and Gifts and attended First Church of Christ, Scientist, in Newport News. Paul was a 1968 graduate of Newport News High School, attended Christopher Newport University, president of VP68 Reunion Association, a member of the American Legion, and Fleet Reserve Association.
Survivors include his wife, Janice T. Randolph; two daughters, Kimberly Maltos of San Antonio, Texas, and Ashleigh Randolph of the home; three sons, Kurt Taskey of Yorktown, James P. Randolph of Germany, and Troy Taskey of Yorktown; his mother, Shelley Randolph of Newport News; his father, Jim Randolph of Biloxi, Miss.; two sisters, Nancy Wilson of Yorktown and Sandra Miller of Yorktown; two brothers, James F. Randolph of Newport News and David A. Randolph of St. Louis, Mo.; five grandchildren, Nicholas Maltos, Brandon Randolph, Ryan Randolph, Michele Taskey, and Alyssa Maltos; and a plethora of loving nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. Monday, Jan. 15, at Peninsula Funeral Home. A graveside service will be conducted at 2 p.m. Tuesday in Parklawn Memorial Park, by readers Shelley Randolph and Rick Fuller.
