Margaret Elaine Redford Bunting Laseman

 

NEWPORT NEWS - Margaret Elaine Laseman, 59, passed
away at her home on Tuesday, July 29, 2003. Born in
Richmond, she had been a Peninsula resident most of
her life except for a brief time in Houston, Texas,
and Charlottesville. A 1962 graduate of Newport News
High School, she was a member of First United
Methodist Church and Historic Hilton Village, Inc. She
was previously employed at Newport News Shipbuilding
in the Production and Welding Departments. Elaine was
preceded in death by her mother, Margaret Johnston
Timmons, and her sister, Betty Morris Graham. She is
survived by her sister, Anne Terry of Hilton Village;
her four nephews, Billy, Larry, Ken and Donald, all of
Texas; and a niece, Deirdre. The family will receive
friends from 7 to 8 p.m. on Thursday, July 31, at
Weymouth Funeral Home. A graveside service will be
conducted at 10 a.m. on Friday, Aug. 1, at Greenlawn
Memorial Park by the Rev. Don Michael Hanna.
