Anne F. Foster
POQUOSON - Anne F. Foster, 88, died Sunday, March 14, 2004. She was a native of Mobjack and had been a Peninsula resident most of her life. She was the daughter of Captain Ben and Stella Foster. Mrs. Foster was a member of Chestnut Memorial United Methodist Church, Newport News. She was preceded in death by her husband of 40 years, Allen E. Foster, and her sister, Marie Jordan. Anne is survived by her son, Allen C. Foster and his wife, Susan, of Yorktown; grandchildren, Allen C. Foster Jr. and Kristi F. Byrd, both of Seattle, Wash.; four great-grandchildren; and a niece and nephew. A graveside service will be held at 11 a.m. on Wednesday, March 17, at Peninsula Memorial Park by the Rev. Dennis Lipke. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Heart Association, 500 Plume Street East, Suite 110, Norfolk, VA 23452. Arrangements by Peninsula Funeral Home.
