Dear Friends and Schoolmates, 

   The sad news continues today. Anne Greene Crenshaw, Class of June 1946, passed away in Newport News on Thursday, December 20, 2018.

   Mother of Becky Crenshaw (Hampton HS - @ '67) , she was the widow of Jimmy Crenshaw (Hampton HS - '4_), and the sister of the late Edna Mae Greene Clary, Audrey Greene Saunders, and Bonnie Greene Sparrow.

HAMPTON - Anne Crenshaw, beloved Mother and Grandmother, left her earthly home Dec. 20th 2018.

She is predeceased by her mother and father, Annie and Barney Greene, her husband, Jimmy Crenshaw, her three sisters; Edna Mae Clary, Audrey Saunders and Bonnie Sparrow.

She is survived by her loving daughter, Rebecca (Becky) Crenshaw (Norman), three grandchildren; James (Rachel), Keleigh (John) and Amber (Dujuan), ten great grandchildren; Caleb, Ivan, Alana, Kirsten, Anaya, Morgan, Alicia, Manny, Liam and Ollie and several nieces and nephews.

She was a 1946 Graduate of Newport News High School and avid golfer.



We would like to thank the loving staff at Commonwealth Senior Living Memory Care Unit, as well as the staff at Medi-Home Health and Hospice, for their personal and loving care with our family.
