need not walk by the shores of Galilee or among the Judean hills to walk
where Jesus walked. All of us can walk the path He walked when, with His
words ringing in our ears, His Spirit filling our hearts, and His
teachings guiding our lives, we choose to follow Him as we journey
through mortality. His example lights the way. Said He, 'I am the way,
the truth, and the life.' |

From Jimmy Dick ('65) of FL - 12/08/18, @ 7:00 AM:
Whenever I want to ponder the beauty of
the earth and he magnanimous nature of God above, all I have to
do is take a walk down by the sea at sunrise. The colors of the
sky and the sea, the fresh air with a salty tang, the birds
flying by, these are just a few of the things that bring Him so
alive to me. They make me so thankful for the gift of life and
the opportunity to experience His love and grace and they also
make me strive to stay alive with Him when my days on earth are
done. How about you?
Thank you, Jimmy!

|FIRST OF ALL, I AM
TRULY SORRY FOR THIS ...
I used to know a guy who absolutely loved hollandaise sauce. He would buy the spiciest brand he could find and would put it on just about everything. Well it turned out that because he used the spicy sauce so much, it started to wear down a hole on the roof of his mouth. He went to a doctor and asked what he could do about it. The doctor looked at the damage and determined that the man will need a metal plate placed at the roof of his mouth. The man was relieved but can't help asking the doctor if he will still be able to enjoy his hollandaise sauce. The doctor reassured the man that his new plate will be made of chrome. The man was curious, so he asked if chrome was the best choice. The doctor responded with "Oh don't worry, there's no plate like chrome for the hollandaise."

From Wayne Agee ('58) of FL - 12/02/18 - "Aging":
|God's plan for
Well, this is a positive way to explain and deal with aging!!!
Most seniors never get enough exercise. In His wisdom God decreed that seniors become forgetful so they would have to search for their glasses, keys and other things, thus doing more walking. And God looked down and saw that it was good.
Then God saw there was another need. In His wisdom He made seniors lose co-ordination so they would drop things, requiring them to bend, reach, and stretch. And God looked down and saw that it was good.
Then God considered the function of bladders and decided seniors would have additional calls of nature, requiring more trips to the bathroom, thus providing more exercise. God looked down and saw that it was good.
So if you find as you age, you are getting up and down more, remember it's God's will. It is all in your best interest, even though you mutter under your breath.
Nine Important Facts to Remember as We Grow Older
#9 Death is the number 1 killer in the world.
#8 Life is sexually transmitted.
#7 Good health is merely the slowest possible rate at which one can die.
#6 For you wives: Men have 2 motivations: hunger and hanky panky, and they can't tell them apart. If you see a gleam in his eyes, make him a sandwich.
#5 Give a person a fish and you feed them for a day. Teach a person to use the Internet and they won't bother you for weeks, months, maybe years.
#4 Health nuts are going to feel stupid someday, lying in the hospital, dying of nothing.
#3 All of us could take a lesson from the weather. It pays no attention to criticism.
#2 In the 60's, people took LSD to make the world weird. Now the world is weird, and people take Prozac to make it normal.
#1 Life is like a jar of jalapeno peppers. What you do today may be a burning issue tomorrow.
Please share this wisdom with others while I go to the bathroom.
Right is right, even if nobody is doing it, and wrong is wrong, even if everyone is doing it.

stupidity, and I am not yet completely sure about the universe.
