12/06/11 - NNHS Newsletter - Bill Cutts
William Henry Cutts
Friends and Schoolmates,
We have another sad if slightly belated edition of the NNHS Newsletter this Tuesday. Bill Cutts of Yorktown passed away on Wednesday, November 30, 2011, at the age of 78.
From Cheryl Mays Howard ('66) of VA - 12/06/11, 8:18 AM - "In sadness":
--We lost a very dear
friend and attended his memorial service yesterday. No, he was not a
Typhoon, but hailed from Mississippi. He was a long time resident of the
peninsula, however. I am sure there were many Typhoons that knew him and
to know him was to admire him.
I am attaching a memorial...let me know if it won't open...
Peace & Blessing, Cheryl

Faith Looks Up to Thee
Words by Ray Palmer, 1830
Music by Lowell Mason (08 Jan 1792 - 11 Aug 1872), 1832
My faith looks up to Thee,
Thou Lamb of Calvary,
Now hear me while I pray,
Take all my guilt away,
O let me from this day
Be wholly Thine!
May Thy rich grace impart
Strength to my fainting heart,
My zeal inspire!
As Thou hast died for me,
O may my love to Thee,
Pure warm, and changeless be,
A living fire!
While life's dark maze I tread,
And griefs around me spread,
Be Thou my Guide;
Bid darkness turn to day,
Wipe sorrow's tears away,
Nor let me ever stray
From Thee aside.
When ends life's transient dream,
When death's cold sullen stream
Over me roll;
Blest Savior, then in love,
Fear and distrust remove;
O bear me safe above,
A ransomed soul!
