Hi Carol, Former Daily Press sports writer Bob Moskowitz passed away Saturday, Nov 28. Over many years he covered many events which included the TYPHOON. I am sure a lot of your readers will remember him. Although not a NNHS alum, I think it would be interesting for others to include him in a future newsletter. Thank you Carol....and as always Thank You for all that You do for all of us......Bobby Bob Moskowitz"s obituary.. https://www.weymouthfuneralhome.com/robert-bob-frederick-moskowitz
Absolutely, Bobby!, thank you so much

May your memories of the
wonderful times you shared with your loved one comfort you and your family,
today and always.

I read Bob's columns growing
up, then got to work with him for four years (1983-87) at the Daily
Press. Even had the privilege of covering the Peninsula Pilots (his main
summer beat) when he was on vacation one year. He was a unique and
talented individual with passion and wit. My condolences to his family
and friends.

deeply sorry to learn of your dad's death. He and your mother made our
years in Newport News feel like home! May their memories be a blessing.
We are so thankful that we got to see them during our trips back to
Virginia in more recent years. They both enriched our lives! Sending you
love! Judy and Skelly ~ Judith Warren
