Dear Friends and Schoolmates,
   I am very saddened to bring you this news this Sunday.
      Norman Dick, Drum Major from the Class of 1960, brother of Virginia Dick Castle (@ '51) of VA and my former brother-in-law,       Rennie Dick ('54) of VA, passed away in Soddy Daisy, Tennessee on Thanksgiving Day, November 26, 2015 at the age of 73.

   His mother, Mae Ross Dick, predeceased him by ten years:

                    Norman Ross Dick

   

Norman Ross Dick, 73, of Soddy Daisy, Tennessee, died on Thursday, November 26, 2015.

Norman served his country in the U.S. Army and was a veteran of the Vietnam War. He was a member of New Salem Baptist Church.

He is survived by his wife, Margaret Louise Dick; daughters, Cynthia Regan (Billy), Jacqueline Cecil (Doyle), Rebecca Shaver, Deborah Knox, Samantha Prescott; brother, Rennie Dick (Lita); sister, Virginia Castle; and several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

The funeral service will be at 12 p.m. on Tuesday, Dec. 1, at Williamson & Sons Funeral Home with Reverend Carl Hunsucker officiating. Interment will follow in Chattanooga National Cemetery with a full military service.

Visitation is from 5-9 p.m. on Monday, Nov. 30, at the funeral home.
