Blanchard family, Ive only known Barbara for a couple years, but from the first time we met she made me feel so comfortable in her home. She proudly showed pictures of her family and grandchildren, shared her canning recipes, and loved being in the kitchen. May wonderful memories always give you peace.

 I am shocked and so sad. Barbara friended me on Facebook a few years ago; we even spoke on the phone a couple of times. For sure she was a kind and loving person. She taught me the up's and downs of some word games, and always kicked my butt. LOL. I will miss her. I am so very sorry for your loss. God Bless.

TO THE FAMILY OF MRS. BARBARA BLANCHARD. I WANT YOU ALL TO KNOW IT'S BEEN VERY HARD ON ME, MORE THEN YOU ALL WILL EVER KNOW, BUT SHE WAS A DEAR AND CLOSE FRIEND AND I WILL ALWAYS REMEMBER THE LAUGHTER WE SHARED. SHE ALWAYS KNEW WHEN TO CALL AND SHE WOULD SAY, "THOUGHT I would CALL, HAD to HEAR FROM YOU," AND DEPENDING ON HOW I'D ANSWER, SHE WOULD SAY, "WHAT'S WRONG, HONEY?"

I LOVE BARBARA LIKE A SISTER. WE ARE SISTERS, BUT FROM DIFFERENT PARENTS. YOU DON'T KNOW HOW MUCH I AM GOING TO MISS HER. To you, the immediate family, she loved you. She would do anything to protect you, and she enjoyed being around you. You all stay together and love each other at all times. Keep Smiling, my dearest Friend. Love, Mozzie

Abide With Me

Words by Henry F. Lyte, 1847
Music by William H. Monk, 1861

Abide with me; fast falls the eventide;
The darkness deepens; Lord with me abide.
When other helpers fail and comforts flee,
Help of the helpless, O abide with me.

Swift to its close ebbs out life's little day;
Earth's joys grow dim; its glories pass away;
Change and decay in all around I see;
O Thou who changest not, abide with me.

Not a brief glance I beg, a passing word,
But as Thou dwell'st with Thy disciples, Lord,
Familiar, condescending, patient, free.
Come not to sojourn, but abide with me.

Come not in terrors, as the King of kings,
But kind and good, with healing in Thy wings;
Tears for all woes, a heart for every plea.
Come, Friend of sinners, thus abide with me.

Thou on my head in early youth didst smile,
And though rebellious and perverse meanwhile,
Thou hast not left me, oft as I left Thee.
On to the close, O Lord, abide with me.

I need Thy presence every passing hour.
What but Thy grace can foil the tempter's power?
Who, like Thyself, my guide and stay can be?
Through cloud and sunshine, Lord, abide with me.

I fear no foe, with Thee at hand to bless;
Ills have no weight, and tears no bitterness.
Where is death's sting? Where, grave, thy victory?
I triumph still, if Thou abide with me.

Hold Thou Thy cross before my closing eyes;
Shine through the gloom and point me to the skies.
Heaven's morning breaks, and earth's vain shadows flee;
In life, in death, O Lord, abide with me.
