From Joe Madagan ('57) of FL
- 11/08/17 - "Thanks for remembering my Birthday":
Hi, TYPHOON Conduit: Thank you for remembering my Birthday. I am grateful the Lord has permitted me to live another year, and trusting He will use me this year, Big 78, for His Glory. I am attaching a photo of me in
USMC Uniform taken on the Open Bridge of the USS BOXER (LPH-4) at anchor
in Guantanamo Bay, Cuba. |

Perhaps you would do me a favor and use this photo to replace
![]() That photo causes "heartburn" for a FEW of my Marine friends who have asked me why there is no belt on my Dress Blue Uniform. At the time, I was heading out to march in a Parade in Newport News and would wear a harness in order to carry Old Glory in the parade. The occasion was the rededication of the War Memorial on West Avenue. This explains why I appear to be "Out Of Uniform" at the time. So if you will remove that old photo, it might end some of the "Incoming" from my fellow Grunt Marines. In the attached photo, I had turned in my side arm, and was just relieved of duty with the Captain. Enough military history of this old guy! Thank You. TYPHOON Regards, Joe Madagan ('57) of FL WILD
GIGGLES!
Certainly, Adonis!

From www.ajokeaday.com - 11/07/16:
As the bus pulled away, a woman realized she
had left her purse under the seat. Later she called the company and was
relieved to find out the driver had found it. When she went to pick it
up, several off-duty bus drivers greeted her. One of the men handed over her handbag and a box. "We're required to inventory found wallets and purses," he explained. "I think you'll find everything here." As she started to put her belongings back into the purse, the man continued, "I hope you don't mind if we watch. Even though we all tried, none of us could fit everything into your purse... and we'd like to see just HOW you do it." |
