   There is more sad news this Monday. Meetsie Feldman Dickler, mother of Cynthia Dickler Feldman of VA, and mother-in-law of Sidney Becker ('65) of VA, passed away on Sunday, November 05, 2017 at home in Williamsburg at the age of 88.

   May her memory be for a blessing always.

WILLIAMSBURG - Margaret (Meetsie) Feldman Dickler, 88, passed away on November 5, 2017, at her home surrounded by her family.

She is survived by her husband of 67 years, Melvin Dickler, and her two daughters Robin Murov (Kenny) and Cynthia Becker (Sidney), grandchildren Sarah Murov, Rachel Greenberg (David), Jacob Murov (Lauren), Margaret Bereano (Bryon), and Adam Becker (Katie), and great grandchildren Tori, Asher, Noah, Alexa, Beatrice, Max, sister Cynthia Ruth, and numerous nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents Ray and Rebecca Feldman, sister and brother in law, Norma and Melvin Goldberg, and brother in law Gerald Ruth. Meetsie was born in Martinsville, VA, and attended college in DC where she met the love of her life, Melvin, and together they raised their family in beautiful Bedford, VA.

Upon retirement after 40 years as the owners of Arthur's Jewelry they moved to Williamsburg, VA to be closer to their children and grandchildren. Meetsie enjoyed playing with the Kingsmill Ladies 9-hole golf group, bridge clubs, and the Wareham's Point Wine and Dine group but loved being with her family most of all.

 

 
 
 
 
  A funeral service will be held at UJC, 401 City Center Blvd, Newport News, VA at 2 pm on Tuesday, November 7, 2017. Burial will be at United Jewish Community Cemetery, 1817 Kecoughtan Rd, Hampton, VA following the service.

The family wishes to extend special thanks to the nurses and staff of Dr. Bruce Booth, Sentara Infusion Center, Alma, Gisele, Jane, Doris, and the entire staff of Williamsburg Landing who lent their support and love during the past year.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Rodef Sholom Temple Building Fund or the .
