The melodic theme appears to have been inspired by an orchestral figure in the final movement of Johannes Brahms' Piano Concerto No. 2 (Brahms) (measures 64-80).

|I finished this small purse of my own design shortly before Hurricane Matthew hit. It's made in single crochet using Red Heart Paddy Green and Hunter Green yarns held together, and edged with metallic gold crochet thread. A vintage gold brooch insures that the flap stays shut!|
