Dear Heart

A kiss makes the heart young again and wipes out the years.”

- Rupert Brooke
(03 Aug 1997 - 23 Apr 1915)

Dear Friends and Schoolmates,

Today's Newsletter theme is for my sister,   the Best Dressed Girl in the Class of 1959, Eleanor Buckley Nowitzky ('59) of NC.

BONUS - Dear Heart - Andy Williams, 1964

OOPS!

From David Rabinowitz ('62) - 10/16/18, 11:41 PM:

Notice of my death are greatly exaggerated.

GASP! David, I am delighted to hear this, but so very sorry I made such an egregious error!

I think I haven't declared anyone dead before their time since 1999, but I thought the circumstantial evidence in Mrs. Rabinowitz's obituary indicated that you were. I eliminated the blunder in the three places it was posted, but words - spoken or printed - can never really be recalled. I am so profoundly sorry. We're all elated, however, that you're still with us!

Creative Costumes For Pets

The paint used must be animal friendly. Some of these are super cute.
I cannot see my furry friends allowing me to dress them up, so to those who get their animals to oblige - what a miracle!

Thanks, Shari!

So how to cook them?"

Words by Jay Livingston (28 Mar 1915 – 17 Oct 2001) and Ray Evans (04 Feb 1915 – 15 Feb 2007)

Recorded by
Andy Williams, 1964

Dear heart, wish you were here to warm this night
My dear heart, seems like a year since you've been out of my sight
A single room, a table for one
It's a lonesome town all right
But soon I'll kiss you hello at our front door
And, dear heart, I want you to know
I'll leave your arms never more

(a single room, a table for one)
It's a lonesome town all right
But soon I'll kiss you hello at our front door
And, dear heart, I want you to know
I'll leave your arms never more
