“I would hope that we would strive always to be considerate and to be sensitive to the thoughts and feelings and circumstances of those around us. Let us not demean or belittle. Rather, let us be compassionate and encouraging. We must be careful that we do not destroy another person’s confidence through careless words or actions.”

Creative Costumes For Pets

The paint used must be animal friendly. Some of these are super cute.
I cannot see my furry friends allowing me to dress them up, so to those who get their animals to oblige - what a miracle!

   Thanks, Shari!

BONUS CROCHET PATTERN (Sorry, not theme related):
Jessie Rayot's Tea Time Scarf - "Tea Time uses Wonderland Yarns Mad Hatter mini-skein pack in Tea Time and Mad Hatter full size skein in White Rabbit to create a playful scarf of speckled stripes. Each colored stripe is smaller than the last, and each white stripe is smaller than the last. The look of this crochet wrap is beautiful and great for your next tea party or evening out! So grab your Wonderland Yarns and your hook and make your new favorite wrap!"

BONUS KNIT PATTERN (Sorry; not theme-related):

Melody Rogers' Single Skein Scarflette Pattern - "Every single knitter I know has a small hoard of single skeins just waiting for something awesome to happen. Recently I have launched a campaign to end the single skeins in my stash and make amazing things. I love the simple yet elegant look of the fan and feather pattern (you will get so many compliments and those not-in-the-know will think you are a magician). With a few adjustments, it makes an amazing scarflette. Quick and easy."

Surround Me with Love

Written by Norris Wilson and Wayland Hollyfield

Recorded by Charly McClain, 1981
(b. 26 Mar 1956)

Sometimes when life's poison arrows shoot me to the ground
Dreams come fallin' down, friends just can't be found
I don't worry, I don't wonder, I know what to do
I don't go crazy, I just go for you

(Chorus:)
Surround me with love, I need you beside me
I want you to hold and hide me
When this world is closin' in on me
Surround me with love, oh and I can make it
Whatever comes, you know I can take it
Just as long as you surround me with love

Who can say what comes tomorrow, what the future holds
What lies down the road, heaven only knows
But one thing I know for certain, one thing that's true
One thing I'm sure of is I need you

(Chorus)
