To my family. My heart goes out to you all. My memory of her will always be. Becky, let's take Stevie to the barn and gather chicken eggs. She would get a basket and off they would go. I remember watching Steve grab her finger and be so excited. Mom would take the time to name all the chickens and the color of there eggs. Stevie would always come back from the farm with peacock feathers in her hair and mud on her shoes. We will always love you. Rest in peace, my friend. Thank you for all the good times.

Remembering the kindness of your mother's generous nature and spunky spirit brings a smile to my face. She helped me at a tough time in my life, and I will always be thankful for having known her. Our thoughts are with you all.

Lead Me Gently Home

Words and Music by Will L. Thompson, 1879
(07 Nov 1847 - 20 Sept 1909)

Lead me gently home, Father,
Lead me gently home;
When life’s toils are ended,
And parting days have come,
Sin no more shall tempt me,
Ne’er from Thee I’ll roam,
If Thou’ll only lead me, Father,
Lead me gently home.

* Refrain:
Lead me gently home, Father,
Lead me gently home, Father,
Lest I fall upon the wayside,
Lead me gently home.

Lead me gently home, Father,
Lead me gently home;
In life’s darkest hours, Father,
When life’s troubles come,
Keep my feet from wand’ring,
Lest from Thee I roam,
Lest I fall upon the wayside,
Lead me gently home.
