Gotta Be This or That
“People often say that this or that person has not yet found himself.

Dear Friends and Schoolmates,
We're returning to a top hit from 1945 today because... because... because we can. We have no midi file attached because... we cannot.

From My Friend, Susan, of NC - 09/23/15:
|“If it were possible
to make your road very easy, you wouldn’t grow in strength. If you were
always forgiven for every mistake without effort on your part, you would
never receive the blessings of repentance. If everything were done for
you, you wouldn’t learn how to work, or gain self-confidence, or acquire
the power to change.”
Thanks so much, Susan!
From Joan Lauterbach Krause ('60) of VA - 09/24/17:
|Thank you, Joan!|
From Jimmy Dick ('65) of FL - 09/24/20, 3:53 AM:
And now Thursday morning, some might
prefer calling it Friday eve, will soon be with us and the weekend looms
closely. It seems like it was just Monday as another week rushes along
toward its finale. So, the question is, will we be ready? Will we have
all of our work completed and adequately done in every way? Therefore,
let's rise and shine, say a short prayer of praise and for guidance, put
a smile on our face and open our heart filled with love and conquer this
thing. We can do it, but first get your hiking boots on and then let's
roll. See you down at the valley by the sea tomorrow.
Thank you, Jimmy!
From Jimmy Hines ('64) of VA - 09/24/19, 10:48 AM:

From Jane Monfalcone Simmons ('61) of GA - 09/23/18:
|EXCELLENT! Thank you, Jane!|
From My Friend, Aaron, (then) of NC -09/20/18:
“There are only a few things that are more entertaining than watching a
cat trying to run across a freshly waxed wood floor after a ball.”
- David C. Holley
Mr. Food's Peanut M&M Bars - "When the report card comes home, we're gonna want to make a little something special to reward the kids for all their hard work! They sure deserve it!"
