Our sincerest condolences are extended to Barry and indeed to Amy's entire family at this difficult time.

     From Barry Rew (NNHS / Ferguson HS - '65) of VA - 10/11/15, 7:08 PM - "Amy":

Thank you for posting my daughter's obituary. We have known about her heart condition since she was 10. She received a pacemaker and defibrillator several years ago and that gave her some more time. She was a great daughter and I miss her so much...

You're so welcome, Barry. I cannot begin to imagine the pain you must be feeling, but you remain in our hearts and prayers.

Y'all take good care of each other!  TYPHOONS FOREVER!  We'll Always Have Buckroe!

                          Love to all, Carol

Where Can I Turn For Peace?

Words by Emma Lou Thayne (b. 1924)
Music by Jolene G. Meredith (b. 1935)

Where can I turn for peace? Where is my solace
When other sources cease to make me whole?
When with a wounded heart, anger, or malice,
I draw myself apart, Searching my soul?

Where, when my aching grows, Where, when I languish,
Where, in my need to know, where can I run?
Where is the quiet hand to calm my anguish?
Who, who can understand? He, only One.

He answers privately, Reaches my reaching
In my Gethsemane, Savior and Friend.
Gentle the peace he finds for my beseeching.
Constant he is and kind, Love without end.
