From Jim Brinkley ('65) of IN - 07/28/13:

Carol,

I just now saw your newsletter. Thanks for all the hard work you have been doing to keep us all informed about our friends and schoolmates. I hope that you will take some time to rest and relax for awhile. It sounds like you really need it. I hope and pray that Paul's surgery went well and that he will have a full recovery.

..... I am trying to find time now for more rest and relaxation myself. I hope you and Paul will find some time to rest and relax also.

Sincerely,

Jim Brinkley

Thank you so very much, Jim! We're trying to do just that - between juggling doctor's appointments!

FINALLY:

From www.ajokeaday.com - 07/19/13:

A lady walked into the drugstore and asked the pharmacist for some arsenic.

"Ma'am, what do you want with arsenic?"

"To kill my husband."

"I can't sell you arsenic to kill a person!"

The lady laid down a photo of a man and a woman in a compromising position. The man was her husband and the woman was the pharmacist's wife.

He took the photo, and nodded. "I didn't realize you had a prescription!"

Fly Me To The Moon

Words and Music by Bart Howard
(01 June 1915 - 21 Feb 2004), 1954

Fly me to the moon
And let me play among the stars
Let me see what spring is like
On Jupiter and Mars
In other words hold my hand
In other words darling kiss me

Fill my life with song
And let me sing forevermore
You are all I hope for
All I worship and adore
In other words please be true

Well ... I really wanted the theme from the film "The Right Stuff", but I could find no such MIDI.
Also, I am not so sure that it would have been all that recognizable.

So, on to Plan "B" ... and something much more recognizable, albeit less heroic:
