Dear Friends and Schoolmates,
Happy 63rd Birthday to --- my sister, Eleanor Buckley Nowitzky ('59) of NC:
Remember how I said I wouldn't be getting you a present or
anything for your birthday? Welllll, I kinda
made an exception in her case. You know, she's right here in Fayetteville with me and everything. I even
baked her a birthday cake and invited them over for dinner. But don't start thinking I'm going to do that kind
of thing on a regular basis. Remember - I never said I was a nice person.
Oh, yeah - Happy Birthday, Eleanor! Thanks for being my sister!
have the distinct feeling there are more than these four, and I'm making another
one of my legendary
colossal blunders here, so just refresh my feeble mind, please:

EXPLANATION and NEWS FLASH:
If perchance you tried to access the web page this morning roughly between the
hours of 6:30 and 8:30
(I can't be sure of the exact times; I was too busy freaking out!), you were greeted with this "charming" message:
This site has exceeded its
limit of 10 Gigabytes of transfer for the month. You may
buy extra Gigabytes of transfer by logging in to the user menu and choosing "upgrade".
After my initial hysteria subsided,
I elected to upgrade the status from Silver to Gold. Now don't y'all feel
To spell out what this means, basically we now have 1 GIG of storage space on the 00freehost pages, plus 15 GIGS
of Monthly Bandwidth usage, and of course, unlimited daily bandwidth usage, and no ads, and a buncha stuff like that.
apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused you. I had no idea
such an upgrade would be necessary
yet, but there has been phenomenal growth of the site since spring - and that's a good thing! So now we're all set
for a good long time.
I have all sorts of other things for you, but it's past my bedtime, and I seem to be reeling. So we'll pick this up later.
Y'all take care.
Love to all, Carol
