I love you all so much! I have so many awesome memories since high
school with Kat's dad and the rest of the family. His laugh and sense of
humor will not be forgotten. He truly was a Man among men. Praying for
you all. Much love! ~ Maggie Louise Tate (Bain), Newport News, Virginia July 21, 2011

I am deeply saddened to
learn this morning that my very good friend, and work associate of
many years has passed away. I wish that I known that he was ill, so
that I could have visited him.
~ M. Allen Anthony, Richmond, Virginia July 21, 2011
Nelson was one of the
nicest, kindest people I have ever known. He gave of himself to his
friends and family far more than most people would, and he asked
nothing in return. He was solid, and will be missed by all who knew
him--a truly good man.
~ Karla Conner, Newport News, Virginia July 21, 2011 Dear Tina, Katherine
and Family, July 21, 2011
I am so sorry for your loss.
I knew Nelson when he was a photographer at the Augusta
Chronicle/Herald. He was very talented and a great guy. He shall be
missed.
~ Aleta Streett-Leavy, Butler, Pennsylvania July 21, 2011 Nelson was a truly great
man. He will be missed so much. Our heart and prayers go out to the
family. David and Lynda Bonnette July 21, 2011
