La Folie en tête (Mad in Pursuit)
Dear Friends and Schoolmates,
Here in Fayetteville, our heat index is expected to soar to unbearable levels this week. Even before I developed COPD, I was never been much of a fan of summer and the heat under normal conditions - unless I can bask in the glory of air conditioning, that is. In fact, I am inordinately fond of staying inside and enjoying The Great Indoors and observing the scenery through the window, but then, you've always known I am nothing if not weird.

For those who don't know.
Thank you, Liam! These errors drive me bonkers! ARGHHH!
From My Friend, April, of NC -07/18/15:
Thanks so much,
How interesting that you and
Liam sent these on the same day! Once again, this one omitted four of my own
1. "I feel nauseous" should be "I feel nauseated."
2. "...different than..." NO! "...different from..."
3. Fewer and less: Use fewer when referring to items you can count, like “fewer hours” or “fewer dollars.” Use “less” when referring to items you can’t (or haven’t tried to) count, like “less time” or “less money.”
4. "She passed last night." Passed what? Her driving test? A kidney stone, perhaps?? Oh, she passed away! I see. Well, then, why didn't you SAY so???
Now for the main question. Why are all these things driving me even crazier now than they were before? I thought we were "posta" mellow as we aged!?! It's not happening!! ARGHHH!
From My Cousin, Cheryl White Wilson (James Blair HS / John Marshall HS - '64) of VA - 07/18/20:
From My Cousin, Jim Atkinson (John Randolph Tucker HS - '77) of AZ - 07/19/17:
