Donna and family of Janice, I always enjoyed bowling with Janice and was happy to see her at the bowling banquet this May. I am sorry to read of her passing, and know you all have treasured memories. May GOD be with you and comfort you and give you peace knowing she is now in a better place and enjoying the presence of the LORD.

Just realized I typed May as our bowling banquet instead of June. Hard to believe it was just last month when I saw Janice. Time goes much too fast.
Love,
Donna Powell

Blessed Assurance

Lyrics by Fanny J. Crosby (24 Mar 1820 - 12 Feb 1915). 1873
Music by Phoebe P. Knapp (09 Mar1839 - 10 July1908), 1873

Blessèd assurance, Jesus is mine!
O what a foretaste of glory divine!
Heir of salvation, purchase of God,
Born of His Spirit, washed in His blood.

Refrain

This is my story, this is my song,
Praising my Savior, all the day long;
This is my story, this is my song,
Praising my Savior, all the day long.

Perfect submission, perfect delight,
Visions of rapture now burst on my sight;
Angels descending bring from above
Echoes of mercy, whispers of love.

Refrain

Perfect submission, all is at rest
I in my Savior am happy and blest,
Watching and waiting, looking above,
Filled with His goodness, lost in His love.

Refrain
