Dear Friends and Schoolmates,

The Anniversary Waltz is a popular song written by Dave Franklin, the lyrics by Al Dubin. The song was published in 1941. It has been covered by Vera Lynn and Connie Francis. The title "Anniversary Waltz" is often mistakenly and confusingly used to refer to the entirely unrelated Anniversary Song.

From Jimmy Dick ('65) of FL - 07/13/21, @ 4:44 AM? - "GOOD MORNING, IT'S "GITERDONE" TUESDAY. LET'S ROLL.":
Good morning, Typhoons, it's now Tuesday and it's time
to get crackin.' Yesterday, Monday, I recommended that we all look forward
and not back, a good message for the first day of the week. But today,
Tuesday, the second day of the work week, I think we need to look somewhere
else. It's time to look up. Look up at that mountain of work we must
complete this week and if we are serious, we have to climb to the top of
that mountain of work by mid-day tomorrow, Hump Day, if we want to make it
back down to the bottom by Friday afternoon. So, get your climbing boots on
and your pencils sharpened and let's move out. Time's a wastin.' Say your
prayers for God's grace and help, get some coffee into your system with a
solid bite to eat, and let's do this thing. Okay? See you at the top
Thank you, Jimmy!
|ABSOLUTELY! Thank you so much, Carlene! I truly believe that's one of the reasons we were put upon this earth - to help others understand just how truly important they are!|
