I remember very well the the Michie family during the 40's and early 50's. Mary Anne certainly was a pretty 15 year old as I remember and like her brothers Joe and Freddy, you could not find nicer people to associate with. I see that lovely black hair has turned to silver as it has for us all now. I know you must have had a wonderful life, Mary Anne, and feel confident your journey has not ended. I am proud to have known this lady.

I didn't know Mary Anne personally, but her sister Faith and the members of TOPS spoke of her with great admiration, love, and respect. I know she will be watching over her family and friends from above.
Rest in peace, Mary Anne.

Softly and Tenderly

Words and Music by Will L. Thompson (07 Nov 1847 - 20 Sept 1909), 1880

Softly and tenderly Jesus is calling,
Calling for you and for me;
See, on the portals Hes waiting and watching,
Watching for you and for me.

Refrain

Come home, come home,
You who are weary, come home;
Earnestly, tenderly, Jesus is calling,
Calling, O sinner, come home!

Why should we tarry when Jesus is pleading,
Pleading for you and for me?
Why should we linger and heed not His mercies,
Mercies for you and for me?

Refrain

Time is now fleeting, the moments are passing,
Passing from you and from me;
Shadows are gathering, deathbeds are coming,
Coming for you and for me.

Refrain

O for the wonderful love He has promised,
Promised for you and for me!
Though we have sinned, He has mercy and pardon,
Pardon for you and for me.

Refrain
