From http://www.SelfGrowth.com - 07/01/13 - "July 4th Freedom":
The Ultimate Freedom By Rev. Dr. Carolyn Porter Freedom is presently on our mind: Independence Day is upon us. |
“We
made too many wrong mistakes.” - Yogi Berra(12 May 1925 - 22 Sept 2015) |
BONUS ALL-AMERICAN CROCHET PATTERN:
Kara Gunza's All-American Wreath - "Decorate your door this summer with All-American Wreath. This patriotic craft project is great for hanging on your door anytime during the summer, but it's especially perfect for the 4th of July and Labor Day. Use a 12 inch Styrofoam wreath and red, white, and blue worsted weight yarn to complete this free crochet pattern. Your holiday decorations will definitely be the best on the block when you hang this holiday crochet pattern on your front door." |
BONUS GLUTEN FREE JULY 4th RECIPES:
"Happy July! Independence Day festivities are this week, and just
because you're gluten-free doesn't mean you have to sit on the
sidelines." Beast BBQ Burgers - "Other burgers are scared of these Beast BBQ Burgers. It's bigger, beefier, and has way more taste than regular burgers. A half inch thick and smothered with an amazing homemade barbecue sauce, this juicy hunk of juicy beef is guaranteed to be everybody's new favorite. Garlic powder, salt, and pepper are mixed into the meat to add a new level of fierce flavor. Forget your other burger recipes, this is the only one that you'll need to win the hearts of all those you're cooking for. " Bacon-Wrapped Hot Dogs on a Stick - "Bacon-Wrapped Hot Dogs on a Stick follow the idea of corn dogs but aren't breaded and fried and are instead grilled. The bacon gets nice and crisp as it hugs the tender all-beef hot dog. Make these for your next cookout or potluck party and watch as they disappear; this is a unique entree that is sure to to delight people young and old. This recipe also includes a spicy "relish" made with jalapenos and tomatoes that complements the beef beautifully." Classic Macaroni Salad - "Classic Macaroni Salad goes great with any picnic or BBQ entree. With gluten free pasta, the crunch of the celery and the tartly sweet pickled relish blends with spices for a great gluten free side dish that will disappear on any buffet. The creamy texture of this deli salad is so easily accomplished with a quick mix up of all ingredients making your job easy for the next potluck." |
FINALLY:
From www.ajokeaday.com - 07/02/18:
Patrons at the zoo were astonished to see
an old man jump over the bars of the lion's cage. Seemingly
oblivious to the danger, he walked among the fierce creatures
holding the latest bestselling book in his hands, intently perusing
its contents. The spectators were beside themselves. "What in the world is he doing?" shouted one. "Is he crazy? He's going to get killed!" yelled another. "Don't worry about him," replied the man's son. "That's just my dad. He likes to read between the lions." |
