We are glad to see Bob is no longer suffering. We will all miss seeing him at our family dinners with Grandma Frances, especially Brett. As a toddler, Brett took to Bob and always looks for him when we go to visit. God Bless.

Bob was our neighbor for many many years. He was the hardest working man I ever knew. Up until just a year or two ago, he was still climbing a step ladder to clean his gutters, and at his age he had no business climbing anything but steps. If there was a stray leaf on his lawn, he was picking it up and keeping the place looking immaculate all the time. We will miss him, as he was always a gentleman. Our prayers go out to Sonny and all the family.

Jesus, Savior, Pilot Me

Words by Edward Hopper, Music by John E. Gould,1871

Jesus Savior, pilot me over life's tempestuous sea;
Unknown waves before me roll, hiding rock and treacherous shoal;
Chart and compass came from Thee; Jesus, Savior, pilot me.

As a mother stills her child, Thou canst hush the ocean wild;
Boisterous waves obey Thy will, when Thou say'st to them "Be still!"
Wondrous Sov'reign of the sea, Jesus, Savior, pilot me.

When at last I near the shore and the fearful breakers roar,
'Twixt me and the peaceful rest; then, while leaning on Thy breast,
May I hear Thee say to me, "Fear not, I will pilot thee."
