Love Lives On

Those we love remain with us,
for Love itself lives on.
Cherished memories never fade;
because one loved is gone.

Those we love can never be
more than a thought apart,
for as long as there's a memory
they live on in our heart.

Think of her as living
in the hearts of those she touched,
for nothing loved is ever lost,
and she was loved so much.

In life you always wonder why things happen, but in a case like this you want to demand an answer. Unfortunately we will never know. You've impacted a lot of lives, and you will live on to everyone. I'm proud that you are a cousin of mine. You will be missed.

Diane, Wade and the rest of Cassie's family,
No words can tell you how sorry we are for your time of loss and grief. We know you know where she is and that you will all be together again.
May you be comforted now and in the coming months of adjusting to life without her here.
Call on us anytime.
Our prayers for you and the family have not stopped.

To the grandparents, we absolutely understand the loss of a grandchild and we are sending up very special prayers for each of you. I know that if grandparents had known grandchildren were so much fun we'd all have had them first.

To Cassie's siblings, we love each of you and know that you will have a huge empty spot in your life now, fill it with all the love she would of given that beautiful baby and always let her know her aunt loved her so much. Maybe that will help on the really hard days.

We love you all and send our thoughts and wishes for peace in your lives.
God Bless

Diane, my prayers are with you. She was so beautiful, looks just like her mother! Our faith is tested in grief but God has a purpose for bringing Cassie home now. The years have passed fast since high school but you are still very special to me. We are out of town this week, but I wanted you to know how blessed we were to have Cassie even for such a short time. Love, Tracy

I had the opportunity to know Cassie through subbing often at LHS. She was a wonderful, vivacious person, full of fun and promise. This is the way I will always remember her. My heart and prayers go out to you all during this time of sadness.

Carol -

I am so saddened to hear of the passing of Cassie. It hurts so much to learn of such a young and vital person being tragically cut down in her formative years, just beginning life and love. Brings a tear.

John London

   Thank you, John, I quite agree.

  Y'all take good care of each other!  TYPHOONS FOREVER!  We'll Always Have Buckroe!

                          Love to all, Carol

Be Still, My Soul

Words by Katharina von Schlegel, b. 1697,
Translated by Jane Borthwick (1813 - 1897);
Music by Jean Sibelius (1865-1957)

Be still, my soul: The Lord is on thy side;
With patience bear thy cross of grief or pain.
Leave to thy God to order and provide;
In ev'ry change, He faithful will remain.
Be still, my soul: Thy best, thy heav'nly Friend
Thru thorny ways leads to a joyful end.

Be still, my soul: Thy God doth undertake
To guide the future as He has the past.
Thy hope, thy confidence let nothing shake;
All now mysterious shall be bright at last.
Be still my soul: The waves and winds still know
His voice who ruled them while He dwelt below.

Be still, my soul: The hour is hast'ning on
When we shall be forever with the Lord,
When disappointment, grief, and fear are gone,
Sorrow forgot, love's purest joys restored.
Be still, my soul: When change and tears are past,
All safe and blessed we shall meet at last.
