Dear Donny, Judy, Paige Carter & Tommy,

I am so sorry to hear about Aunt Lucy! She was a wonderful woman and Lady. I was shocked when I opened Carter's email today. All of you have no idea the special place Aunt Lucy held in my heart. She truly represents the end of an era for all of us. I really regret not taking the time to go by to see her the last time I was in Hampton.

Polly's & My Prayers are with all of you & God Bless

Dear Pagie, I just found this notice on-line. I was so very saddened to hear your wonderful mom has passed away. I wish I could be there to hug & comfort you. I have such happy memories of the time we spent together on Allegheny Road! Remember the trip we took by bus to Cornwall, NY...we did have a wonderful childhood together. Daddy passed away in '02 & Mom eleven months later in '03. I've been living with my wonderful memories and taking one day at a time. I'm in Gloucester. Please e-mail me when you feel you can at  Again, I'm so very sorry and have you and your family in my thoughts and prayers. All my love & hugs,

O Lord of Life, Where'er They Be

- Lyrics by
Frederick L. Hosmer, 1888; Music by Melchior Vulpius (circa 1560-1615)

O Lord of life, where’er they be,
Safe in Thine own eternity,
Our dead are living unto Thee:
Alleluia! Alleluia! Alleluia!

All souls are Thine, and here or there
They rest within Thy sheltering care;
One providence alike they share:
Alleluia! Alleluia! Alleluia!

Thy Word is true, Thy ways are just;
Above the requiem, “Dust to dust,”
Shall rise our psalm of grateful trust:
Alleluia! Alleluia! Alleluia!

O happy they in God who rest,
No more by fear and doubt oppressed,
Living or dying, they are blest:
Alleluia! Alleluia! Alleluia!
