Diane, when I started caring for you, little did I know how close to you I would become. I was with you only a short four months, but the time we spent was very special to me. When Dean called me about taking care of you, I never thought we would become so close and be such good friends. I don't think I have had anyone make me feel as special as you did. You let me know every day how you felt about me and I'm glad I got to let you know how much I LOVED you while you were still here. I will sure miss you, but my dear friend, RIP until we meet again and we will party in heaven. I will never forget you. With all my LOVE, Linda Smith

Diane, you were a great friend. We had good times when kids were small. We sorta went our separate ways later in life, but I always thought of you. You will always be remembered. I'll see you again in Heaven.

 O God, Our Help in Ages Past

Words by Isaac Watts, The Psalms of David, 1719 (based on Psalm 90)
(17 July 1674 - 25 Nov 1748)

Music, St. Anne, by
William Croft, 1708
(10 Dec 1678 - 14 Aug 1727)

1. O God, our help in ages past,
Our hope for years to come,
Our shelter from the stormy blast,
And our eternal home.

2. Under the shadow of Thy throne
Thy saints have dwelt secure;
Sufficient is Thine arm alone,
And our defense is sure.

3. Before the hills in order stood,
Or earth received her frame,
From everlasting Thou art God,
To endless years the same.

4. Thy Word commands our flesh to dust,
“Return, ye sons of men”:
All nations rose from earth at first,
And turn to earth again.

5. A thousand ages in Thy sight
Are like an evening gone;
Short as the watch that ends the night
Before the rising sun.

6. The busy tribes of flesh and blood,
With all their lives and cares,
Are carried downwards by the flood,
And lost in foll’wing years.

7. Time, like an ever-rolling stream,
Bears all its sons away;
They fly, forgotten, as a dream
Dies at the op’ning day.

8. Like flow’ry fields the nations stand
Pleased with the morning light;
The flow’rs beneath the mower’s hand
Lie with’ring ere ’tis night.

9. O God, our help in ages past,
Our hope for years to come,
Be Thou our guard while troubles last,
And our eternal home.
