From Butch Ragland ('63) of CO - 06/07/14:

Hi Carol,

Some of us just realized you were having some newsletter email issues.  I advised the Facebook crowd that you have been keeping the newsletter updated, but having problems with transmitting the emails.

Is there anything we might be able to help you with to get things up and running?

Let me know and we will see what can be done.  Hope everything else is OK with you and Paul!

Butch

   Thanks so much, Butch!

I know of no way to convince Gmail that I am not a spammer, so I'm just going to return to using Yahoo.  As notes can only be sent through them at the rate of 50 an hour, that will take quite awhile, but I see no alternative. When Wikipedia first made that announcement, they mentioned there was a problem. I thought perhaps whoever instigated the evil plan would try to correct the problems it was causing people with legitimate mailing lists, but more than two months have passed with no discernable changes.

The irony is that since this time, the amount of spam I personally I received has increased by 5 times!

Hi again, Carol,

I had a feeling it was something along that line causing the problem.

You might want to consider moving to CONSTANT CONTACT, which is a email marketing system. I used it when I was doing heavy email marketing but have not used it since I went into full retirement.

If you decide to try it, let me know!

Good Luck and Thanks!

... I am getting ready to take a couple months off to travel around the country as soon as my wife gets her retirement completed; so I probably will not offer any new NNHS products until the current inventory has sold out. There are still a few totes, caps and visors in stock; but I was very happy with the acceptance of the Logo Products by our classmates and alumni! Thank you for your support in making these items available to our alumni!

Butch

OH, WOW! I'll certainly want to look into CONSTANT CONTACT! It sounds like it just might be the answer to the problem! Thank you so much!

   Y'all have a great trip!

Count Every Star

Written by Bruno Coquatrix (05 Aug 1910 - 01 Apr 1979), Sammy Gallop (16 Mar 1915 - 24 Feb 1971), and Michel

Recorded by Linda Scott (b. 01 June 1945), 1962

Count every star in the midnight sky
Count every rose, every firefly
For that's how many times I miss you
Heaven knows I miss you

Count every leaf on a willow tree
Count every wave on a stormy sea
Count every star and darling when you do
You'll know the times I have cried for you

Count every leaf on a willow tree
Count every wave on a stormy sea
Count every star and darling when you do
You'll know the times I have cried for you
