FINALLY:
From www.ajokeaday.com - 06/03/19:

A man was madly in love with a princess and wanted to propose, but an evil witch had cast a spell on him and he could say only one word a year. So he waited 14 agonizing years—accumulating all his words—before approaching his beloved.

Finally, the big day arrived. When he saw her, his heart skipped a beat. He gathered his nerve, dropped to his knees, and intoned, “My darling, I have waited many years to say this... Will you marry me?”

The princess turned around, smiled, and said, “Pardon?”
