Dear Friends and Schoolmates,  

   There is even more sad news this Saturday.  
  Juanita Sharpe Lubertazzi, probably Class of @ 1952, sister of   Wayne Sharpe ('55), passed away in Newport News on Thursday, May 28, 2015 at the age of 81.

NEWPORT NEWS - Juanita Sharpe Lubertazzi, 81, died Thursday, May 28, 2015 at Mary Immaculate Hospital. Juanita was a lifelong resident of Newport News.

She was a Cub Scout leader and Den leader coach. She was a charter member of the Hampton China Painters Club and the first state president in 1975. She loved golf and was a member of the Williamsburg Country Club for over 50 years where she served on many committees including President of the Ladies Golf Association. She was a member of the Tidewater Ladies Golf Association and the Hampton Roads Golf Association.

She and her husband, Dom, owned Second Street Flea Market in Williamsburg. Juanita loved to play bridge and belonged to several groups including the Denbigh Community Center.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 61 years, Dominic A. Lubertazzi and her parents, Charles and Myrtle Sharpe.

She is survived by her two sons, Danny L. Lubertazzi and his wife, Mikki and Jeffery R. Lubertazzi; her grandchildren, Dustin Lubertazzi and his wife, Lee-Wilson and Christian Lubertazzi; her brother, Wayne Sharpe and his wife, Mary; her great-grandchild, Sydney Lubertazzi and many nieces and nephews.
