Dear Friends and Schoolmates,

We have more sad news today.

From Joe Madagan ('57) of VA - 05/18/06 - "NNHS Class of 1957":

Hi, Carol:

Some sad news. Since you have access to The Daily Press, this is just a heads up.

William C. Sawyer (Bill) died on Tuesday, May 16th.  Visitation will be from 6:00 to 7:30 pm Friday, May 19th at R. Hayden Smith Funeral Home in downtown Hampton, Virginia.  A Mass of Christian Burial will be at 10:00 am on Saturday, May 29th at St. Rose of Lima Catholic Church.  Our prayers go out to the Sawyer family.

Always,
Joe

Oh, my.  Thank you so much, Joe.  I had not yet read the obituaries today, so I had missed this.

Of his large family, I believe I knew only two of his younger sisters,    Mary Beth, who is a member of the Class of 1963, and Cindy, who was a member of the Class of 1968.  Our deepest sympathies are extended to his entire family and friends.
