Judy and Jerry, I was so sorry to hear of your mother's passing, but like so many of us that have previously lost our parents, it is so relieving t know that they are no longer suffering or confused. We want to keep them around forever, but not at the expense of their pain. One day soon we will all be together.

My heartfelt sympathy is extended to Ruby's family. I have known Ruby for almost 30 years and we had such a wonderful friendship through the years and shared so many things. May you cherish the memories that were made during her lifetime.

No Night There

Words by John R. Clements, c.1899
Music by Hart P. Danks (06 Apr 1834 - 20 Nov 1923)
http://www.songwritershalloffame.org/exhibit_bio.asp?exhibitId=197

1. In the land of fadeless day
Lies the city foursquare;
It shall never pass away,
And there is no night there.

* Refrain:
God shall wipe away all tears,
There’s no death, no pain, nor fears,
And they count not time by years,
For there is no night there.

2. All the gates of pearl are made,
In the city foursquare;
All the streets with gold are laid,
And there is no night there.

3. All the gates shall never close
To the city foursquare;
There life’s crystal river flows,
And there is no night there.

4. There they need no sunshine bright,
In that city foursquare;
For the Lamb is all the light,
And there is no night there.
