My husband and I remember Charlie well; we are both retirees of Bell Atlantic and Verizon (previously C&P Telephone Co.) Charlie was a good man and was respected and loved by many. Now Frances and Charlie are together again as they were in life. Rest in peace, old fellow; you will be remembered.

I knew Charlie from the James River Convalescent Center where my father was also a resident. Charlie and my dad were partners in crime when it came to teasing the staff. Although I only knew him for a short time, he made a lasting impression. He was a true gentleman and he will be greatly missed.
