Car, vois-tu, chaque jour je t’aime davantage,
Aujourd’hui plus qu’hier et bien moins que demain.

Today more than yesterday and less than tomorrow.”)

“Patience is not passive resignation, nor is it failing to act because of our fears. Patience means active waiting and enduring. It means staying with something … even when the desires of our hearts are delayed. Patience is not simply enduring; it is enduring well!”

   Thanks so much, Katrina!

From Joan Lauterbach Krause ('60) of VA - 03/25/18:

From Jimmy Dick ('65) of FL - 03/25/19, 6:37 AM:

Well, here it is a Monday morning again and as we wait for sunrise about one third of the moon is shining down quite brightly through fluffy moving clouds. Hopefully, we all are refreshed with some quality time off and a fresh dose of the Spirit from Lord's Day worship and praise. So, it's time to buckle up, put your working cap on and with a smile on your face and the faith in your heart to deal with the strength of that faith in all that you do. He is always near and He'll never let you down, so call upon Him in everything you do this week and watch with amazement how the tough tasks you must accomplish get solved. There are many lines of work out there, but whatever we do, just do it well. Remember, we are just as good as what is in our heart. It's really quite that simple. Have a great Monday.

     Thank you, Jimmy!

AWW! Thank you, Charis! I can certainly see how that would be!

RECIPE FOR BETTER SALADS (Sorry; not theme-related):
A 'Why Didn't I Think of That?' Trick for Better Salads

From - 03/24/17:

A friend hosted a dinner party for people from work and everyone was encouraged to bring their children. All during the sit-down dinner one co-worker's three-year-old girl stared at the man sitting across from her. The girl could hardly eat her food from staring.

The man checked his tie, felt his face for food, patted his hair in place, but nothing stopped her from staring at him. He tried his best to just ignore her but finally it was too much for him. He asked her, "Excuse me, little girl, but why do you keep staring at me?"

Everyone at the table had noticed her behavior, and the table went quiet for her response.

The little girl said, "I just want to see how you drink like a fish."

More Than I Can Say

Written by
Sonny Curtis
(b. 09 May 1937) and Jerry Allison (b. 31 Aug 1939), 1959

Recoded by Bobby Vee (b. 30 Apr 1943), 1961

Oh oh! Yeah, yeah!
I love you more than I can say
I'll love you twice as much tomorrow, oh
Love you more than I can say

Oh oh! Yeah, yeah!
I'll miss you ev'ry single day
Why must my life be filled with sorrow? Oh
Love you more than I can say

Oh, don't you know I need you so?
Oh, tell me please I gotta know,
Do you mean to make me cry?
Am I just another guy?
Oh, oh! Yeah, yeah!
I miss you more than I can say
Why must my life be filled with sorrow? Oh,
Love you more than I can say

Oh, don't you know I need you so?
So, tell me please I gotta know,
Do you mean to make me cry?
Am I just another guy?
Oh, oh! Yeah, yeah!
I love you more than I can say
I'll love you twice as much tomorrow, oh
Love you more than I can say
I love you more than I can say
I love you more than I can say, oh
(More than I can say)
I'll love you twice as much tomorrow
(Ooh, more than I can say)
I'll love you twice as much tomorrow
(Ooh, more than I can say)
I love you more than I can say
(Ooh, more than I can say)
I love you more than words can say
(Ooh, more than I can say)
I love you more than I can say
