DEAR NNHS NEWSLETTER READERS: If you found a pot of gold this morning (or even if you didn't), please consider making a donation to NNHS65.
Even with canceling seven upcoming test and appointments as well as my planned cataract surgery, recent monumental medical bills
have placed an enormous financial weight upon us, trickling down at an alarming rate, so we ask for your help.
If everyone reading this right now gave only $3, our burdens would be lifted within an hour.

If these Newsletters are enjoyable to you, please take one minute to keep it online for another fun year. Thank you so much.

From My Friend, Susan, of NC - 03/17/15:

“My promise to you who pray and serve the Lord cannot be that you will have every blessing you may wish for yourself and your family. But I can promise you that the Savior will draw close to you and bless you and your family with what is best. You will have the comfort of His love and feel the answer of His drawing closer as you reach out your arms in giving service to others. As you bind up the wounds of those in need and offer the cleansing of His Atonement to those who sorrow in sin, the Lord’s power will sustain you. His arms are outstretched with yours to succor and bless the children of our Heavenly Father, including those in your family.”

- Henry B. Eyring
(b. 31 May 1933)

    Thanks so much, Susan!

From Jimmy Dick ('65) of FL - 03/17/19, @ 6:30 AM - "A BLESSED SUNDAY AND TOP OF THE IRISH TO YOU THIS LORD'S DAY":

Well, here we are about to witness another dawn on Sunday, the Lord's Day and this year also St. Patrick's Day. I imagine there will be a lot of green in church this morning. And even though I am of a Scottish background and sometimes the Irish and Scots don't hit it off, I don't have any problems because I know what it's caused by--we are both stubborn and probably too much alike. But take some time to talk with your Maker this morning and it's all the better if you can see Him in His House. The important thing, however, is to just tell Him how much you appreciate Him and love Him, for He has given us everything we are and have. And yes, it's okay later in the day to hoist a cheer to good old St. Patty, just do so with class and grace and realize just how fortunate we are to live in a land where we can have so many different occasions to celebrate. Have a blessed day.

Thank you, Jimmy! Happy St. Patrick's Day to you, too!

Danny Boy

Words by Frederic Edward Weatherly (1848-1929);
Music: The Londonderry Air

History: http://www.standingstones.com/dannyboy.html

Oh Danny boy, the pipes, the pipes are calling
From glen to glen, and down the mountain side
The summer's gone, and all the flowers are dying
'Tis you, 'tis you must go and I must bide.

But come ye back when summer's in the meadow
Or when the valley's hushed and white with snow
'Tis I'll be here in sunshine or in shadow
Oh Danny boy, oh Danny boy, I love you so.

And if you come, when all the flowers are dying
And I am dead, as dead I well may be
You'll come and find the place where I am lying
And kneel and say an "Ave" there for me.

And I shall hear, tho' soft you tread above me
And all my dreams will warm and sweeter be
If you'll not fail to tell me that you love me
I'll simply sleep in peace until you come to me.

I'll simply sleep in peace until you come to me.
