The love of my life went home to Our Lord on December 17, 2017. She was so brave and fought a courageous battle with dementia of the Alzheimer’s type for four years. She never lost her smile even during the last 18 months where she had no motor skills whatsoever. I thank God that he allowed me to be in Fay’s life for the last 26 years. We made a wonderful team always supporting each other. May she finally find peace with Our Lord and I look forward to joining her some day. Love You Forever, Your Husband Pete

One of my all time favorite and funniest memories of Aunt Fay was the night I slept walked out of the bathroom, to the pool, and set off the alarm system. Cops came and everyone was in a panic. Lol, so she made me and Tabitha sleep with y’all, in case I got up again. Well, good idea in theory; however, if you remember, Uncle Pete, Fay and I slept sprawled out, sideways, in the king and knocked You and Tab almost, if not completely, out of the bed. So she and I slept great, but you two were grumps the next day! Then of course her always having to buy massive jars of pickles for me, because I would eat them all in one day! She will be missed! I love you both! Xoxoxo...

I know you are an Angel now and at peace and free from the pain you suffered. Due to Dementia you were a prisoner in your own mind which is such a cruel disease. Your husband, my brother, took excellent care of you so you need to be his “angel” now here on earth. I have many fond memories of you, but the Best is when my husband set you up on a blind date with my brother in Roswell, GA and then LOVE to follow which led to 26 years married. You will be sorely missed but always in my heart. Hugs to you in Heaven.

Fay had a kind, generous, and loving spirit that radiated out to all those around her. She will be deeply and sorely missed. Peter (brother).

I always remember Fay’s warm smile and her gentle and kind nature. She was so welcoming and friendly when we moved to the neighborhood, and I’ll never forget her for that. Our deepest sympathies and condolences to Pete and the entire family.

Dad, I am truly sorry for your loss. Fay was a very strong and courageous woman that battled a cruel disease head on, no doubt with the help of the love of her life. Fay, you touched so many lives in a positive light, and will be forever missed by those who knew you. She will be an Angel on your shoulders, Dad, until God calls you home to once again reunite for eternity. Fay, I am glad that you are no longer suffering, and in the place of all places in peace. Take comfort in the scripture - John 14:1-4 “Let not your hearts be troubled. Believe in God; believe also in me. In my Father’s house are many rooms. If it were not so, would I have told you that I go to prepare a place for you? And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again and will take you to myself, that where I am you may be also. And you know the way to where I am going.”

In You Rejoice
(O Tebi Radujetsja)

Liturgy of St. Basil - Tone 6

(English adaptation by Edward Sedor)

All creation rejoices in You,
O You who are full of grace,
the host of angels and all mankind.
O holy temple and spiritual paradise,
the glory of virgins,
from whom God was made flesh and became a little Child,
and is our God before all ages.

For He made You womb His throne,
and more spacious than the heavens.
All creation rejoices in You,
O You who are full of grace,
glory to You.
