|“If we could all the
time see and realize and understand our true position before God, our
minds would be continually on the stretch after the things of God, and
we should be seeking to know all the day long, what we could do to
promote the happiness and salvation of the world.”
Thanks so much, Daniel!
From Fred Mays ('60) of VA - 03/02/16, 10:49 PM:
I am so sorry
to hear about all that
(Harty - Bardolph HS, IL - '61 - of NC) has
experienced. He is such a great guy…… I am so glad he has
improved. We will pray for him.
Thank you so much for catching Doug's obituary for me, Fred. I can only imagine one way I missed it. The Daily Press must have added it to their postings after I had already finished reading the obituaries for the day. I created his Memorial Edition in the wee hours of the morning before my "second sleep":
Nancy's obituary, on the other hand, did not run in the Daily Press - nor any other newspaper, as far as I could tell. Her big brother Joe Madagan ('57) of FL sent the link to the Rochester NY funeral home to me on Facebook after I had despaired of finding it. Thanks again, Major Madagan!
Thank you again for all your kind thoughts and prayers,

They are moist and structured, but still soft and light, ever-so-slightly crisped exterior.
