From (the late) Norris Perry (Warwick HS - '59) - 04/29/08 (sic) - "WORLD WAR 2 PICTURES..........":

Not just Jews but Christians, ....too sad.

WORLD WAR 2 PICTURES

These photos were taken in Germany by James Emison Chanslor, an Army Master Sergeant who served in World War II from 1942 until 1945.
Source: Photos courtesy of John Michael Chanslor

It is a matter of history that when Supreme Commander of the Allied Forces, General Dwight Eisenhower, found the victims of the death camps, he ordered all possible photographs to be taken, and for the German people from surrounding villages to be ushered through the camps and even made to bury the dead.

He did this because he said in words to this effect: 'Get it all on record now - get the films - get the witnesses - because somewhere down the track of history some b *stard will get up and say that this never happened.'

'All that is necessary for the triumph of evil is for good men to do nothing.'
- Edmund Burke

This week, the UK removed The Holocaust from its school curriculum because it 'offended' the Muslim population
which claims it never occurred.

EDITOR'S NOTE: The above sentence is not really correct, but it does nothing to negate the reality
of the horror of these images, or the fact that there are those who make such obscene claims:

http://www.snopes.com/politics/religion/holocaust.asp

This is a frightening portent of the fear that is gripping the world and how easily each country is giving in to it.

It is now more than 60 years after the Second World War in Europe ended.

This ..... is ..... in memory of the six million Jews, 20 million Russians, 10 million Christians and 1,900 Catholic priests who were murdered, massacred, raped, burned, starved and humiliated with the German and Russian peoples looking the other way!

Now, more than ever, with Iran, among others, claiming the Holocaust to be 'a myth,'
it is imperative to make sure the world never forgets.

.....remember, because we cannot let it ever happen again.

Thanks To ALL Who Served And Are Serving..
Please Pray For Our Troops And Leaders.

God Bless America. Land That I love.

Thank you - again - so much, Norris Sweetie!

From Me ('65) of NC - 04/25/06 (sic):

On a personal note, ..... I have every reason to believe that as the Regimental Surgeon for the 116th Infantry of the 29th Division,       my daddy, the late Robert Buckley (John Marshall HS - '25) (19 Oct 1907 - 25 Apr 1960) was present at the liberation of at least one of the infamous Nazi concentration camps. He would never actually admit it, but he was in the right place at the right time, and it would stand to reason that he should have been there. Moreover, on more than one occasion he related in great detail a delousing scene of woman prisoners (he called them "refugees") which I later viewed in a documentary exactly as he had described. Most telling to me, however, was the way he never missed an opportunity to show me, a young child, very graphic images of the camps as they appeared in magazines and on television. Considering the great care he had taken to protect me from other evils of the world, his heroic efforts that I should never forget speak volumes to me, even today.

   Thank you, Daddy.

“I've gone where the hand of man has never set foot.”

1974)

BONUS EASY JEWISH RECIPES:

http://www.easyjewishrecipes.com/chicken-soup-recipe.html - Traditional Jewish Chicken Soup - "The traditional Jewish Chicken Soup Recipe (or 'Jewish penicillin') is often served at holidays and Shabbat and makes a comforting and flavorful addition to any meal. You can replace chicken with turkey meat and enjoy a hearty turkey soup and use up the vegetables that you happen to have on hand in case you have run out of carrots, celery or onions. Prepare the soup as a chicken noodle soup recipe, chicken rice soup, matzo ball soup or as a clear broth - always good."

http://www.easyjewishrecipes.com/sauteed-green-beans.html - Sautéed Green Beans - "Sautéed Green Beans are an easy dish to prepare on the stove. Of course, this leaves you with precious oven space when you need it most for larger meals. This green bean recipe serves a crowd and quantities can be adapted very easily. Green beans are a cinch to prepare and can remain partially cooked on the stove until you are ready to prepare your meal. At family dinners and holidays, Sauteed Green Beans are a handy and healthy recipe option."

http://www.easyjewishrecipes.com/Lemon-Coconut-Loaf.html - Lemon Coconut Loaf - "Lemon Coconut Loaf with cream cheese filling is an excellent loaf recipe from the Land O'Lakes Company, producer of butter and other dairy products in the United States. This recipe is relatively easy to make and looks very appetizing once glazed and set on an attractive serving plate. The cream cheese toasted coconut filling is a wonderful surprise."

FINALLY:
From http://www.ajokeaday.com - 01/26/14:

A  candidate at a job interview was asked a tough question to which he mumbled an inaudible answer.
